How to find betting markets and understand odds
In the sports section of hi bet, a list of all sports appears on the left — cricket, football, tennis, and more. Selecting a sport brings up current and upcoming matches, and clicking a match opens all available markets.
Odds in each market can be displayed in three formats — decimal, fractional, and American. hi bet generally uses decimal format, which is the easiest to calculate. For example: if the odds for Team A to win are 3.00, a ৳200 bet returns ৳600 if won (৳400 profit + original ৳200 stake); if lost, the full ৳200 is gone. The same price in fractional format is 2/1 and in American format is +200.
Favourites generally have lower odds. For example, if the odds for Team B to win are 1.25, a ৳200 bet returns ৳250 (only ৳50 profit). In fractional format this is 1/4 and in American format -400 — meaning you need to stake 400 to make a profit of 100.

Keep in mind about odds
Odds change — the odds shown before a match starts and during live betting are locked in once the bet is confirmed. So check the odds shown on the slip before placing a bet.

How to place single bets and multi bets
Clicking on a market automatically adds it to the bet slip. Entering a stake amount in the slip instantly shows the potential return.
Single bet: A single selection only. The slip contains just that one event. Enter the stake and press "Place Bet" — that's all.
Multi bet (combo): Clicking on multiple markets adds them all to the slip together and creates a combined odds figure. Example: three selections with odds of 1.40, 1.70, and 1.90 respectively — combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 4.52 (approximately). So with a ৳100 stake, if all selections win, the return is ৳452. But if any one of them loses, the full ৳100 is lost — that is the key feature of a multi bet.
In limited-overs cricket matches there is no draw, so one of the two sides wins. Example: Team A 1.45, Team B 2.75. Placing ৳500 on Team B returns ৳1,375 if Team B wins (profit ৳875); if Team A wins, the full ৳500 is lost.

For example, backing Team A at 2.00 odds with ৳500 gives ৳500 profit before commission if Team A wins, or a loss of ৳500 if they do not. Laying means you receive the backer's stake as long as Team A does not win, but you are liable for ৳500 if Team A does win.
How to view the history of active and settled bets
After logging in to hi bet, the account menu has a "Bet History" or "My Bets" option. Here you will see two tabs — "Open Bets" and "Settled Bets".
Open Bets: Bets that are still active or awaiting a result appear in this tab. Live score updates during a match are also shown here.
Settled Bets: Once a result is determined, the bet automatically moves to this list. Winnings from successful bets are added to the balance; the stake is deducted for losing bets.
